A New Workout

Hello, yesterday I had a great work out but, it wasn't so hot in the beginning. I started off with Chalean Burn circuit 1 because I had finished all of the other burn circuits; the problem was it was so boring and slow I lost all motivation quickly. Being my second time doing the DVD, I was surprised at how bored I became. I almost called it quits but I spent some down time browsing websites on fitness. On the web I found a great workout that I modifed to do at home from Fitness Rx. In the end I completed my weight workout and did a run.

Well the Rx Fitness plan must of been decent because I am sore today, transaltion- it worked!I used 10lb weights for every exercise. It is a post holiday fittness plan but who cares it was awesome! By the way, it is finally warm out it feels like a holiday from the snow so what the hell I did it. The link to this workout is posted below. If your not going to the gym and only have weights try my modifed moves! It is important to do this work out quickly to get your HR up and reduce break time!

These are the moves I swapped!
Superset 1:Machine Rows-->Dumbbell Rows

Superset2: Upright Rows--> Standing Upright Rows w/Weights, Lat Pull--> Dumbbell Rows(Repeat Alternative move from Set 1)

Superste3: Dumbell Incline Curl--> No Bench Use a ball, Tricep Pushdowns Lat
Machine-->Tricep Kick Backs w/Dumbbells

Superset4: My favorite I followed the moves because I have a ball!!

Superset 1: Dumbbell set-ups--> Build a Platform to step on, Seated Leg Curls--> Alternate Lunges w/Weights in hand

Well, I am not an expert and I don't have a gym membership. I had to adapt the moves the to my best ability and still target same muscle groups . This mini workout is killer and great especially if you don't normal lift weights at a fast pace. I liked it more than Chalea's Burn Circuit! I felt it was a step up from her workout because I'm so sore today. I am surprised it worked when I lifted the weights quickly. After all, Chalean tells you in her workouts to "lift slowly" because fast movement doesn't work. Well, then why am I so sore today?? It must be because I am doing more sets- 2 to be exact. Chalean would be dissapointed but adding more set rather than taking it at turtle pace worked! I might not be doing Chalean anymore.
